Charter Terms & Conditions
By paying your deposit you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, and will convey them to all members of your group.
| Tentative Bookings |
24-hour exclusive hold. After this, other enquiries may be accepted. No booking is secured without a deposit. |
| Confirmation |
Confirmed on receipt of deposit and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. |
| Deposit |
50% of the total charter fee unless otherwise specified in your quotation. |
| Final Payment |
Due by the date in your booking details. Guest numbers at this time are the minimum for catering. Additional passengers can be added up until the day and charged accordingly. |
| Payment Methods |
EFT, cash or credit card. Non-refundable card surcharges may apply. |
| Cancellations |
Deposit is non-refundable; may be transferable at owner's discretion.
—15+ days before: cruise credit 50% of total paid; remaining 50% forfeited.
—Within 7 days: full loss of moneys paid.
—Bad weather by Bucks Afloat: full reschedule or refund.

| Security Bond |
May cover damage, equipment, services or cleaning costs. Any balance refunded within 7 days post-charter. |
| Decoration |
Permitted if agreed in advance and does not affect navigation or safety. Boat returned in same condition. |
| Substitute Vessel |
We reserve the right to provide a vessel of similar style and capacity in the event of a mechanical problem. |
| Weather |
Charters proceed unless deemed unsafe by the Master. If cancelled and rescheduling is not possible, full refund minus catering costs. |
| External Personnel |
No external staff without prior authorisation. All must comply with crew instructions. |
| Risk Warning |
Inherent risks exist on board any vessel. All passengers participate at their own risk. |
| Loss & Theft |
Bucks Afloat is not responsible for loss or theft during the charter, or damages from failure to observe safety measures. |
| Safety Rules |
—No weapons or illegal substances on board.
—No footwear on board. Bar closed until vessel is out of port.
—Do not put paper, tampons or pads in the toilet — use the bins.
—All passengers must carry local ID or passport. Pets require prior approval.
—Boarding opens 10 minutes before your charter time.
—Children under 12 must wear a life vest. No running on deck or jumping into the sea.
—Do not throw objects into the sea.
—The captain may prevent intoxicated passengers from drinking and return to port without refund.
Breach by any passenger may terminate the tour without refund. Safety contract signed upon boarding.
